Thinking of getting this impost model from toshiba. http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/cdet land.to?poid=467352

15.6” diagonal widescreen TruBrite® TFT LCD display at 1366 x 768 inborn resolution (HD)
3 usb ports
Webcam & Mic
The Ram is NOT expandable past 4GB. Will this hurt me within the next 4 or so years? I don't need any more harddrive place, so that's not an issue (plus I have an external). Could have bluetooth for $25 more but I don't think I'll really need that...
Asking cost is just under $700. Sale ends monday so the price will shoot up soon. Is this a good charge?
OK, I guess I could get something a bit cheaper that will run my game. But will those cheaper items have sustainability for newer technology? Is it worth me getting the faster processor and all that jazz?
both my daughters have this laptop and it plays the sims 3 comminuted.

The figure seems a little on the expensive side but it is a "performance" PC that seems to be made with wireless gaming in mind. The 6 cell battery should aide the run time while off mains too.
According to the min. requirements of the game (as seen in sources), this computer should be fine to run the Sims3.
As the automobile you are thinking of buying is above the minimum requirements though, I would be slightly cautious as the graphics card listed for your system are new and therefor not on the "officially supported" roster for Sims3 (yet).

This is want, but bear with me.
I switched my friend's wireless card out and put it into mine. I previously didn't have one and was using the computers wireless network using a usb adapter (spit)... The one I am trying to install in a Linksys wireless-G PCI Adapter
Model No. WMP54G...
I put into into the slot...both slots even, and my computer doesn't distinguish that it's there. the green light doesn't turn on or flash, so obviously the computer doesn't recognize new hardware.
The linksys come clean was already installed when my friend bought it off of craigslist....
So do I need a disk, I feel so helpless. I have no idea what to do.

Sprint shutters unlimited 4G mobile broadband
23.02.12
On Thursday the company informed subscribers in a notice on its Web site that it will stop offering its unlimited 4G mobile broadband offering. The wireless broadband service, which is used for the aforementioned devices, will no longer bundle unlimited 4G wireless access into existing plans, which limit usage for 3G service to 3GB, 5GB, and 10GB monthly usage.
Sprint said that as of the next billing cycle, customers already subscribed to these services will continue to pay the same amount for their existing plans, but they'll no longer get unlimited access to the 4G service. Up to this point, Sprint has offered plans that limit data usage on its 3G wireless network to these three different plans. But each of these plans came with unlimited 4G wireless usage.
The three main types of Wi-Fi adapters are available: wireless network cards, PCMCIA cards and wireless USB adapters. Some newer laptop computers come with an adapter and built-in wireless chip.

When I tried to put the wirelessadapter, using the supplied CD, my anti-virus software Symantec reported the coordination has been infected by "Spyware.Keylogger." I went to the Web page and downloaded the MediaBridge basic software. I tried again to invest in the adapter and got the same advanced spyware. The program Symantec would not let me set up the software.
I have been in telephone MediaBridge and they are investigating the end. I show off to Symantec and go ahead and position the software.I then ran on a pore and Symantec has found two instances of a file called "uninst.exe" Symantec has reported being infected by Spyware.Keylogger. Symantec quarantined spyware. I provided the newspaper Danger Symantec MediaBridge. I also scanned the CD and the installer that I downloaded, and Symantec can not find reverse something with the CD or Setup....

Expansion and advance of Internet made tangible some in the since not achievable kit. 1 of them is once video telephony or seeing the child you are chatting with. There isn’t a unwed himself that uses the Internet that has never tried contacting someone by a video appropriateness. It’s fetching everyday and low-priced when compared to what excuse sediment and quick phone providers claim.
To start a video uniting with another woman both you and the yourselves you are chatting with destitution to have a web camera to send and draw picture to each other. In community a cam must be linked to a notebook or a network. The pre-eminent imaginable choice would be to have a parsimonious wirelesswebcam that doesn’t even scarcity a wire for establishing a join.
