I noticed that sometimes the rear USB ports won't work. Also, the frontside audio jacks never work. Am I low on power?
Your graphics card requires 350w so you might be pushing it pretty close. I just upgraded my graphics card and power supply. Radeon 5770 with a 650w power supply. I went a little high just in case, better safe than sorry.
Changing out your power supply isn't THAT hard. If you do it and it's your first time, just make sure that you hook in the new power supply AS you unhook the old one, so that you don't miss any slots. I made the mistake of unhooking my old one all the way and then hooking in my new one. I did it but it took a while to make sure I got it right.

At home we have a wireless network that a PC, laptop and printer were connected to. The PC was the main computer. The PC recently got wiped clean and everything has to be reinstalled. We have a netgear wireless router but not sure which type it is. The internet is still working on the laptop but cannot print. I have tried downloading the drivers to a USB but they show up as fragmented files and a unusable. Also if anyone knows a good graphics and sound drivers website i am also unsure as to which one i have of them (nVidia i think) and i cannot play music or games and am not sure what to do. I really do not want to spend any money! thankyou
it was a retail computer, then why wont the network work? OR Sound or games
Where is the model number located? It is an acer
I have an old school HP printer that uses a USB cable to connect to the computer. Is there any way to convert this to wireless? I'd like to place it in a separate to save space.
If it is possible, what components will i need?
With wireless networks becoming the norm in network computing both at home and in offices, it is not surprising that these users of wireless networks are now turning as well to setting up a wireless printer to address whatever printing needs that they may have. After all, since wireless printers do not require Ethernet or local area network cables, it is more economical to install them instead of laying out meters upon meters of network cables either at home or in the office. Wireless printers also eliminate the need of purchasing more printer units than necessary, which is very impractical if the location in question is a home.
Setting up a wireless printer is not a complicated matter to accomplish. It can take as short as five steps to get the whole thing done.
Step #1: The Location of the Wireless Printer.
Since more than one computer would be making use of the wireless printer. It makes sense to figure out the best place to put it. The wireless printer should be set up at a place at home or in the office that is accessible to everyone and where there is ample space for paper, printer ink and other such paraphernalia.
The wireless printer should also be paired with a computer that will serve as its printer server. In a small office, this computer could be the network server. In a household, this could be the computer that is most often used.
Step #2: Bluetooth or Wi-Fi?
There are two connectivity choices when it comes to setting up a wireless printer, and these two choices are none other than Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Most new computers and printers nowadays are equipped with either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi capacities, but if not, it is easy to get a wireless card that can be plugged using a USB port. The only difference is that Bluetooth has a smaller range than Wi-Fi.
Step #3: Enable Printer Sharing
The server computer’s operating system must be informed that the printer that will be added to its network is a wireless printer. In Windows Vista, this is done by accessing the network settings in the Control Panel and then activating file and printer sharing in the local area network settings.
Step #4: Share the Printer.
The other computers on the network must also be set up for using the wireless printer. To do this in Windows Vista, open the Control Panel in the classic view and then open Printers. Right click on the printer that is going to be shared, and then open Properties. In Properties, check the box that allows the printer to be a shared device.
Step #5: Continuous Troubleshooting
Wireless networks are prone to interruptions, and so it is important for whoever it is that is maintaining the wireless network at home or at the office to keep the connections to the wireless printer active. Nothing is more irritating that setting up a wireless printer and then encountering numerous glitches afterwards.
I have my mouse keyboard and my wireless internet in my usb ports and now im trying to install my printer and after installing the software i plug in the printer like it says but my computer is not detecting it
I currently have a Brother HL-5140 laser printer. It does not have wireless printing so it recently has become a burden as my household has expanded to a desktop and two laptops. Is there such thing as a wireless printing adapter such as I plug the usb cord into it and I can print pages over wifi through that printer?

What will I need?
I know you can do it, but what should I buy? I have a laptop but as I type all my usb drives are being used,
Please and Thanks
For USB devices you need a hub that connects directly to your router. One such device is this Belkin hub
www.belkin.com/networkusbhub/
In this case the hub is N wifi so you need an N router to work with that. The hub sits by itself, connected to your printer and external drive, etc, and connects to the N router. From there computers can use the devices either wired or wifi.

Belkin F8T031 works like headset and bluetooth connection so you when you printer is connected with Belkin F8T031 you can printer the document from a tablet PC wirelessly
I bought this for a printer I had that did not have built in bluetooth. I actually never used this, as I have since upgraded my printer. I have the original packaging and CD and manual. On Amazon it is selling for $65.00. Please see this link for reviews and more information. http://www.amazon.com/HP-Bluetooth-Wireless-Printer-Adapter/dp/B000BLA1S4/ref=sr_1_2ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1293765747&sr=8-2
Your home may be set up for wireless internet, streaming, and file sharing, but try telling your printer that. If you'e stuck lugging your laptop to a USB connection, a wireless print server may be a worthy purchase.
