Because most of internet radio stations don't work on PS3 ( because they play using windows media player, which PS3 doesn't support ) I want to stream audio from my computer to PS3. I don't want to stream music from my computer's hard drive, but just audio that is coming from my computer speakers.
So when I'll play internet radio on my computer, the audio will stream to my PS3. Is there a software that could do it?
I already have a software that can stream all of my music and videos from my computer to PS3 over internet. But because on-line radio opens in a browser, and it isn't a song,I can't stream it. So please help me.
My PC and PS3 are on the same router ( I don't know if it helps somehow ). I just don't want to do it by connecting my PC with PS3 by cables. I don't want any cables. Wireless through my router,or through internet.

Ok, so I've been looking into this but so far I only found one particular way to set it up: get a router, connect the internet ethernet cable to it and connect the computers to it.
The problem is: I want my Desktop to be ethernet connected and as a server for the other computers (laptops) to access by wireless connection. In other words, the internet goes to the computer and out of it through a wireless network station to the laptops. How would I go about doing this? I know I need to clone my PC MAC address, but how will I go about connecting the router? Will it be: Ethernet -> Router -> Ethernet cable to PC or can I connect the router to the PC via USB or something? The computer has only 1 ethernet port...
Or am I being naive and you can only set up the wireless network router first and connect to that?
The reason I want to do it that way is to be 100% certain that I will not loose any speed on my desktop (got a 100Mbps connection in my country and 10Mbps in foreign countries)
you can setup your PC to share it's internet connection choosing ad hoc connection.
a very comprehensive though a little bit complicated and long description of how to do it can be found here: http://www.conniq.com/WinXPNetworking_wi fi_direct_connection.htm
I personnally would only use the PC as the one providing the internet connection if you really want to control all the other laptops otherwise you should simply setup the router and connect the PC with a wired cable from the wireless router (the usually also have a few ethernet ports) and connect the laptops wirelessly.
For that you only need to connect the router to the wall outlet (or modem), set it up (usually through your internet browser locating 192.168.1.1 - user name and password should be in the router's manual) with a WEP code and other stuff you want to have (like MAC filter...) and finally locate that connection with the laptops.

Got tired of playing my 360 and had it since Feb 2007. I wanna get a PS3 now because there's so many exclusive games out and coming soon(Yes i'm looking at you God of War 3) for it and it's only $299. The bundle consists of:
-20GB Premium Xbox 360 w/ wireless controller
-Charge station w/ 2 battery packs, plug & play charge cable
-Headset
-Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
-Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
-Left 4 Dead 2
-Resident Evil 5
-Rainbow Six Vegas
-Rainbow Six Vegas 2
-Guitar Hero 3 w/ guitar
-Splinter Cell D.A
-Phantasy Star Universe
-Lost Odyssey
I went to Game Stop and they offered me $218. With the 50% trade in special going on and an additional $30 towards trading for another console so it'll be $248...=/ (This is a deal that's going on now until the 15th of march i believe) Also they don't take guitars anymore for some odd reason so i can't trade it and my 3 Xbox original games in. Any suggestions on what i should sell these for? I might sell on Ebay.
