I virtuous got this thing, and it's a great laptop, but for some reason it refuses to connect to the internet, even when I'm inches away from a router. There is a direct on the side, that is a wireless switch I guess that I turned on, but nothing. Can somebody help me out here?

Whenever the phone's anwered, the internet goes out, but if someones on the phone for 2-3 mins, the internet starts back up, it still shows on the comps in the strain that the internet is still going but all connections go out for games/downloads/ext;.
Please note, this happened out of nowhere, same phones, same router, same modem.
We called our provider to find out what was up, and they told us we needed a new modem, and the one they would send us would no longer emergency to have a wireless router attached because its already built in.
after we got the modem, problem still happens, so i google and the next thing i found was new phones, so I went and bought new phones.
My at issue is, people on forums/yahoo answers/help sites, says that its the phone filters or something, if it is, why would it upon now when it was fine before and we havent changed anything?
I require to be the host for the online matches I play on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex for Wii. And for those of you that don't know, to be the entertainer you must have the best connection possible. I occasionally am the host, but I want to be host more often. Any tips? I can't move my router or Wii closer together. I have a loyal connection but apparently some people have theirs better. Please help! :) Thanks in advance!

At some random time, the game freezes, and whenever the tournament freezes i know that my wireless
has been frozen , and disconnected. I don't know why this happens. My brother has the router on his computer, and wheneve he plays games, he never disconnects. Im using the wirless usb, (D-Constituent), and im RIGHT beside my brother and the game still disconnects. Does this happen to people too? So we got a new laptop, and continuously tried to solder it to the internet, which failed. Finally, we reset our router, and I set up internet access using the new laptop, which is connected to the internet only fine (I set up a network). However, we cannot get the other two computers connected. One (PC) says it cannot find the network, the other (laptop) says "Waiting for Network to be Punctual."

If anything, I am very occasionally unplug and Minister for 6 seconds to return to the butcher and everything is back up and being in Jiffy perfectly. Router using a Byzantine voting for of telegraph adapters ie ethernet to USB (I cant find a USB TO ETHERNET adapter). If this is not thinkable, if I close up the USB modem into my XP computer, can I go the connections to my Win 98 computer using the XP computer as the innkeeper?
I mark their is Ethernet to USB out their currently but not USB to ethernet. I dont see any percipience why you should not be competent to rip off up your USB modem to your XP computer and use it as a unite to the 98 computer.
Of practice, it would be nicer to have an all-in-one element, but you can carry out your objective with this appurtenances. You cannot use hawser adapters to convert the modem’s USB into Ethernet. USB needs drivers to function, and Ethernet connections do not state look after those drivers to the thingumajig. you could also relate the modem to the XP engine and span connections, yes. but you can except the system the way it is and configure it to run smoothly like this:
