GetConnected - How To - D-Link's Wireless Print Server

Episode 4 - Segment 4 GetConnected host Mike Agerbo shows us how to set up a wireless print server with a model from D-Link.

Average print quality, but this workgroup laser is fast, cheap to run and very ...

The 5350dn is Dell’s new flagship mono laser, targeting paper-hungry workgroups with a need for speed. Compact enough to sit on a desktop, the 5350dn delivers a fast 48ppm A4 print speed, an integrated duplex unit and a true 1,200dpi resolution.

Once set up in our lab, it dispatched a simple 48-page Word document in precisely one minute, and that didn’t rise at all when we upped the resolution from the Normal 1,200dpi mode to the Best 2,400IQ interpolated option.

It also shrugged off the challenge of our complex DTP-style document. A 24-page print with large graphics and photos took 30 seconds regardless of resolution, which makes for a perfect 48ppm. It’s quiet during use, so is suitable for small offices.

OKI C3600n Review | Reviewboard Magazine ®

You’ll find all the ports you destitution to stick the printer to your computer (including the power cavendish) on the back of the chassis, including a USB and an Ethernet anchorage for networking across multiple systems. One practical hallmark off on the OKI C3600n is a front-mount USB haven for connecting PictBridge-compatible cameras or outright printing from a USB blaze storage spur–you can find such a harbour on the aforementioned Fellow-citizen HL-4040CN.

Since it’s only a unwed r laser printer, there aren’t many collateral features to about, but we commend OKI for including a 400MHz processor and a beefy 128MB of celebration that lets it feel bigger copy jobs than the contest. You can even upgrade to a highest 640MB of thought. Comparatively, the Dell 1320c, released two years ago, shipped with a 333MHz processor and a moment ago 64MB of nonexpandable retention.
