this could be a good system, it has the latest specs, and it will do the basic chores a student requires, like word processing, powerpoint, playing music and DVDs, surfing, standard gaming, etc, but I will always recommend for piece of mind, to extend your warranty to 2 years plus the 1 year warranty, that is a piece of mind from the financial point of view, in case the system has some issues and needs to be repaired. Other than that, like I said before, it is a good system. Take care.

This is great laptop, but, the 720p screen is cheaper, but, if you need full HD, then go for it. Also, to remind you, this pc has HDMI port, so you can connect it to a FULL HD TV. Also, Windows 7 home premium will work for you just fine. But, if you like the pro version, then go for it. Overall, it's a great laptop, you won't be wrong if you buy it.

awesome choice just change the warranty type to complete cover and purchase directly from dell to checkout the discount options and check for the original invoice at the time of buying to be sure that u are getting the same things.

Sure, wireless N is great and everything, but if you told me I'd be streaming media between 2 and 3x faster through Microsoft's new Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter (802.11a/b/g/n) than their old a/b/g version, I'd never have believed you. (shits still way too overpriced. typical MS)
