If I buy a wireless internet adapter for my 52" Samsung HDTV, can I surf the net or just what they allow?

Basically my laptop stopped connecting to our sky internet connection after my dad accidently shut it and opened it again (i think by his mac not by power switch) and once he opened it again my laptop picks it up but when i try connecting to it, it asks for the password... I put it in... then puts me through to trouble shoot (i have windows7) anyway so i try everything from turning it off for 30 seconds to waht ever 3 days pass still not working... i used my brothers Wireless usb adapter on my laptop, and through that the internet started working, so i thought hmm? maybe its my built in wireless adapter, so i went to my friends house with my laptop, i tried connecting to his nternet to make sure its my built in adapter, but it worked? i come home and it doesnt work on my internet connection? how the hell do i fix this?

Can someone help me with my wireless internet? The signal comes up as 100% but it keeps disappearing?

ok so ive had wireless internet on my playstation 3 for about a year and a few months. it always worked perfectly fine. Then about a month ago, a friend of minez was having living issues and so i let him move in with me. about a week later he unplugged my wireless adapter(zyair). I still dont kno y he did this.(i tend 2 brag about ps3 capabilities becuz he is so stuck on xbox360). but lately its been feeling like i said 2 much and he started to get a bit hateful towards me about the things i have and he isnt really doing dat great financially. so ever since he pulled my adapter out, my connection hasnt been good at all. i cant stay online for more than 5 mins. sumtimes not at all. and with the new update(version 3.30) available, i cant even stay online long enough to download it. it even starts the download and it will get as high as 13% and then the connection will just disconnect and it will say a error occured. Like i said i haven't had one problem with my wireless internet period until dat fool disconnected my adapter. Now i suspect he did sumthing else to the router or on my network through the start button just to make me mad but i cant quite figure it out. can sum1 please help me get back online via ps3???????? im begging yall. as fast as u can possibly help. Now if it helps, he set up a wired connection to the router with his xbox360 after da fact dat he messed my connection up. and i would do da same but my system is n the other room. he is currently staying in the computer room. Thank you in advance. by da way, he's leaving in a week so if i get it fixed i wouldnt ever be worrying about this problem again unless its a technical problem

only home wireless SSID not shown in the "connect to network" window of vista?

i have a AMD based laptop with realtek rtl8187b wireless network adapter.when i try to connect to my home network i cannot find my router,where as my housemate is able to access internet from the same wireless router.I see all other networks SSIDs other than mine.i checked the wireless settings and SSID is enabled,ideally i should show.Plzzzz help

i tried putting up a home network in my house so i could play my xbox and my mother could use the computer i have the xbox connected to the router directly and the computer connected wireless downstairs it id the d link wireless n starter kit that comes with the adapter everything is up and running the only thing is that now my computer has become very slow!!! when on the internet the speed is 150mbs but its still slow any help

its the original white one with one antenna

when i plug it into my xbox, nothing happens. when i plug it into my computer, the light flashes red. is the problem with the adapter, my xbox or my internet. any solutions?
