Im going to be spending two years in Eastern Europe for the Peace Corps.. Im going to bring a laptop so I can get a wireless card and call my parents and boyfriend on Skype using it. What would be a good laptop for me? What can I buy that will work with plugins-assuming they are around? Is there anything you can do to charge a laptop without a wall plugin?
Well, if your purpose is just to chat and skyping... I suggest you to get windows laptop instead of MAC. You don't need an expensive laptop, just get Core2Duo as your processor and 2GB memory should be more than enough.
And unfortunately you can't charge your laptop wireless-ly... the technology is still under development and I dun think its released yet...
If you feel like to know more about it, just email me...
good luck...

Im having a LAN party this weekend. I have internet but its wireless. I have a spare wireless router. I was wondering if it is possible connect like 4 desktops to the router Via Ethernet cord, and use the router to receive internet, and distribute it to the desktops its connected to. The router is a NetgearRangemax G
If yes, How do I do it?
Also, I have a wireless N card on my desktop, can some connect to my computer via Ethernet and share the internet im receiving.
Same thing, if I Can, How do I do it.

Alright, well i might be buying this computer, but want it to be for gaming, so I figured what would be the best game for me to play and I thought, CoD: MW2. Here are the spec's.
P.S I'm not overly good with graphics :P
Operating System: Windows 7
It's a Toshiba Satellite 15" Notebook
- AMD Turion 2 Dual Core M520 2.3GHz
- 4GB RAM
- 500GB HDD
- ATI 512MB Dedicated Graphics Card (If needed I could upgrade to a 1 Gig Dedicated)
- DVD Super Multi
- Webcam
- Wireless 802.1 b/g/n
- Windows 7 Home Premium
NOTE: Some of these were properly not needed but i listed EVERYTHING it advertised.
It's from JB Hi-Fi
Cost: $993
Is it worth it and can it play CoD: MW2? Thanks.
- Cheers, Tim.
I really can't spend overly much on a new computer i really want a laptop though, despite being "shit" i prefer them, all i want to know, is it capable of running CoD MW2? and is it worth the money?

TwoThirtyAM » Review: Eye-Fi Pro X2 8GB Wireless SDHC Card
by Jason
That cold years, the reminder cards for cameras were all the same. Efficient, there were discrete sizes and shapes, but as far as the thought went, there were very characteristic of scrap them. In 2005, a start-up stint at Prospect Mountain, CA changed the way we have about the recall of maps and photos of the shooting. A new release was released which was like no other: The Eye-Fi card, created by a troop of the same name. The engineering geniuses stuffed a WiFi chipset already deprived of the apparently insignificant level SD card. Break, why WiFi?By having the WiFi card, which enables the card to carry your photos from your camera to your computer wirelessly without the use of plugging the camera in and then having the importance photos in your computer. The fun does not stop there, however. As if the photo wireless switch not enough, the card will also upload photos quickly to your favorite online photo sharing service with no effort!...
What to buy Internet PC wireless card, if I have a Linksys router ...
by admin
No, you do not necessarliy the same epitome of wireless adapter for your computer have to buy. There are many options that you can buy. I take you are with a desktop computer and the wireless router in your undertaking. You can either thrust a card into your motherboard, or you can get a USB adapter. Typically, a USB adapter is the simpler method, but a toy more dear. But you can very likely transport the USB adapter from one computer to another, so that for the mediocre PC operator, I endorse buying a USB adapter would also be a USB scope wire, so that the adapter can get the most outstanding signal to . If you have a laptop either a PCMIA or Accurate groove you can use a wireless card that can ignore into that notch, or you can use to position the same USB for the desktop to müssen.Wenn people ask what big-hearted of router should get it, I try not to let it get tricked into an high-priced wireless N router. The palette is a bit outdo, but if you can get superb coverage in your council without it thats pulverized. Also, in not working for an N-card even in a feeling to N-functionality you difficulty to use a wireless N access meat / router. So, unless you have or are planning to upgrade to an N router, no call for to get the N card. Even if the wireless N speeds faster than the B / G-have technology. But your internet is not permanent ='pretty damned quick' enough to use that until the office of a B / G card, so unless you’re doing something concentrated LAN fete gaming or streaming movies from 10 contrasting computers in your establishment, there is no for to investment in a wireless N card.
