I have a Dell XPS 1340 (no longer sold) but have to use my only usb port for my wireless adapter (laptops built in isn't compatible with my netgear router)
how can i get extra usb ports?

Go to just about any office supply store and tell them what you need. They stock these like they stock paper. Tell them you want one with a external power supply. Many companies will sell you a 4 port hub and all the power to run all the devices comes from the one USB port you connected the hub to.
i just purchased a netgear rangemax dual band wireless N USB adpter for my computer But Its A exe File not a dmg so its not for mac is there a driver out there that will make my netgear usb adapter to work on my mac please help
My PC is running Windows 7 64 bit and I am trying to use a WUSB600N USB wireless adapter. I've been reading through the forums on linksys and can't seem to find anything to point me in the right direction for a fix, I have installed the latest driver from linksys that is supposed to be Win 7 64 bit compatible. I have seen where people with Kaspersky 2010 have had issues, but I've tried disabling it and still get no connection. When I go to the Network Adapter properties it says it is disabled. When I enable it, it says "Enabling", then "Enabled"; however, the property of the adapter doesn't change from disabled.
I also have a Netgear WN111v2 that I have tried. It does the same thing, and when I try using the Netgear software it sticks on a loop. The software pops up in the start tray for less than a millisecond then exists abruptly..... over and over...
