Okay so I have a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard. I just got my Microsoft Sidewinder X8 mouse and now both of them act really weirdly. Like when I was playing COD4 my person would just walk around and shoot randomly. Also when I'm doing my daily things it just starts right clicking and quitting programs! is it because my mouse is wireless and it interferes with my keyboard?
All of a sudden after 3 months of perfect uninterrupted use, my Microsoft Wireless Keyboard v.700 has gone mad! When typing it's either constantly missing letters out or inserting 10 of the same character instead of 1, then to cap it all the wireless (and now the wired) mouse seem to have a mind of their own with the pointer taking independent journeys all around the screen.Mega infuriating! Has the kit crashed or is it something wrong that I am doing? Help?!? Anyone any ideas?
I know there are other questions like this, but my media buttons don't even work when iTunes is the active window. The forward/back buttons don't do anything, and the play/pause button only opens iTunes or makes it the active window. I have tried the mmKeys.dll plug-in, but that didn't do anything. Yes, As per below with instructions from TristinR, I was using a laptop and pressing the wireless button to turn off network. I also turned on airplane mode as it kept checking via mobile. You should get an error about no network if you do it to early. Just keep on trying.
