ok so i have 2 desktop on for some reason or another decided to stop being able to use the internet however before we this happened we installed this router belkin it worked ok but we wanted a stronger connection so we bought the wireless-n router before i did i hooked up desktop pc #2 to the internet base connection and it worked well. then i followed the instruction on the wireless n router installation disk i was able to get the router signal to work but not the actual internet any idea what i did wrong. i followed the steps several times step by step from start to end and still dont know whats wrong any ideas???
I have a Belkin FSD7230-4 router, it has been making a SUPER high pitched noise that you can hear across the room, its getting bad enough that its giving me a headache when sitting near it.
What could be causing this? time for a new router?

We hvae 2 new laptops, compac and acer, mine doesn't have a disk drive but his does.
we used a flash drive and copyed all the cd information over to it for my pc. now when we go to get on the internet (wireless) I get linkys and he get linkys 2(srry if i mispelled that), but on my computer i see the belkin wireless but each time i connect to it it will have 5 bars then none once connected. his computer dont even show anythang but the linkys 2. and it toke over 30 mins to try and get my computer to work with the router. please somone help if you need more information just let me know.
I have a Belkin N D58236-4 Version 3 wireless router.
I had a power outage about 12 hours ago and when the power came on, it still worked. But, i wanted to move locations of my router. When I set it back up in my room, it didn't work!!
Now I have this orange blinking light where it says, "modem." If I plug my computer into my internet modem alone, I am online. As soon as I try my wireless, it doesn't work!
Help?

At start, I removed my steadfast Belkin Wireless G router and snag up with the new one. I removed the wirelss G adapter on one of my PCs and plugged in the N+ adapter. The PC in the main runs stream customer.
Things look merit in the first 2 days. (My equipments run 24×7) Torrents run all right with no observable pinch in fly like the wind compared to when using the older wireless G router. The PC managed to be customary about 104mbps with virtuous signal dignity with being about 20 feet away from the router pushing the shift value of 6MB/sec or about 50Mb/s .
