Where can I buy a syringe?

I'm looking for a syringe- not to forth anything but as a part for something I'm making that needs a wee bit of vacuum. I'm not fused about the needle part, just the plastic tube that draws the stuff up. Any ideas where you buy these in the UK or online?
cheers

Ask a posologist. They are frequently used to dispense medicines to children, since it's easier to get them to take medicine from the syringe than from a spoon.

You can get one from a cooking contribute store. They're used a lot for marinating meat or filling donuts or other baked goods.

AP Chemistry questions that I don't get....Need Help with these for tomorrow!!! pleaseeee?

my foundations of tech project?

Microwave Cooking is much Faster Than Other Methods of Cooking

The microwave oven is the fastest way of cooking provisions, or just reheating leftovers, out of all kitchen appliances. The microwave was first discovered when Dr. Percy Spencer noticed while doing a examination project involving radar that the chocolate in his pocket had melted because he was testing a new vacuum tube called a magnetron. So he clear to start experimenting and found that popcorn kernels popped when they got too close, and an egg would explode from the extreme heat. He experimented further, assuming that if it could cook those foods that with dispatch, it should be able to do that with other foods too.
The first microwave was developed in 1947 by the Raytheon Company. It was about the same size of a refrigerator, about 5 and a half feet big, and over 750 lbs. It cost about $5000, and most people didn't want to buy it because of its size. In 1955 the Tappan Business made the first microwave designed for home use. It was 24 inches wide.
The microwave’s first use was in hospital kitchens and military canteens. But some people worn the microwave for dangerous uses, such as drying cork, ceramics, paper, leather, tobacco textiles, pencils, flowers, wet books, and compact heads. Which obviously, was very dangerous and not very smart at all.
The microwave saves time, especially in defrosting chicken because chicken needs to be nicely defrosted for health reasons. The microwave definitely saves time in reheating. In a conventional oven it would take almost an hour to reheat a baked potato, but in a microwave, it would take about 5 minutes. Saves you a lot of in days of yore to get other things done that you need to do.
The reason that a microwave works a lot faster than a conventional oven is the way that it cooks the chow. In a conventional oven it penetrates the food with heat from the outside, and in a microwave oven, the food generates the tenseness within itself.
As a general rule, an oven powered by electricity will cook food a lot faster than a gas-powered oven. Although 60% of our (Americans) accustomed ovens are powered by electricity, they are still less efficient than the stand microwave because it takes a lot longer to cook the sustenance.
A Swedish study found that cooking a single portion of potatoes in an oven took 9.5 times as much spirit and time as it did in a microwave, but as the portion numbers being cooked increased, the efficiency of the microwave decreased.
The microwave is also much more economically palsy-walsy. It uses less power than a convention oven, and it is much faster too. The convention oven costs you a lot of energy perfectly by how slowly it cooks the food compared to the microwave. The conventional oven also has a higher wattage than a microwave. The agreed oven has a wattage of about 3,000 watts, and a microwave has a wattage of about 600-1,650 watts, depending on the microwave.
As you can see, not only does the microwave cook provisions faster and saves you time, but it is also much more economically beneficial than the conventional oven. The microwave oven is a much wiser choice if you’re in a hurry, or if you just care about the environment.

Clues

1. Standard: Gasium (Gs): This is the element with the lowest atomic mass number in the universe.

2. Fireworkium (Fw): This element has 15 protons and 15 electrons in its impartial atom.

3. Toothium (T): This is a nonmetal with an average atomic mass number close to 19.

4. Floatium (Fl): This is a gas that the aliens often use to fill balloons and blimps. It contains two protons in its heart.

5. Breathium (Br): This element is a nonmetal and has one less proton than an atom of Toothium.

6. Luminesium (Lm): This element is a metal that is not very reactive and has a lovely low atomic mass number. When we round the atomic mass number up to 27, we find that an atom of this ingredient has 14 neutrons in its nucleus.

7. Mustarium (Ms): This is a nonmetal, gas that is very reactive and is toxic when the aliens inhale it. Its norm atomic mass is about 35 amu.

8. Lightium (Lg): This is a gas that does not react with other elements. It glows when it is heated in a lamp or vacuum tube. It contains one more proton in its core than Toothium.

9. Rottoneggium (Re): This is a non-metal with one less electron than Mustarium.

10. Nobelium (Nb): This gas is located directly below Lightium on the repeated table.

11. Liquidium (Lq): This non-metal and has the second largest atomic mass number on the alien sporadic table.

12. Atmospherium (At): The aliens noticed that this is the most abundant element found in the Earths atmosphere. Its atoms carry 7 protons and 7 neutrons.

13. Supermanium (Sp): This element has the largest atomic mass unit on the aliens iterative table at close to 84 amu.

14. Bonsium (Bo): This element is important for bone strength, both for aliens and earthlings. It is a metal in Set 2 of the periodic table and has 20 neutrons.

15. Organium (Or): This element makes up diamonds, which are not as valuable in other places in the macrocosm as they are on Earth. It contains six protons in the nucleus of its atom.

16. Killum (Ki): This is a notoriously poisonous metalloid with an atomic oodles close to 75 amu.

17. Universium (Uv): This is a heavy nonmetal, a pretty large atomic mass gang and chemical properties similar to Rottoneggium and Breathium.

18. Semicoductium (Sc): This element is the metalloid with the lowest mound. It has one less proton than Organium.

19. Computerium (Co): This is an element that the aliens use in their electronics, stun guns, and in their communication devices because it is a semi-conductor. Significantly greater than the loads of Semicoductium and has 14 electrons.

20. Ikium (Ik): This is a semi-conductor that is found below Computerium on the periodic table.

21. Spriklium (Sp): An atom of this medium may have an actual mass of 70 amu with 39 neutrons.

23. Metium (Me): This is a very reactive metal, and the metal with the lowest mass on the entire periodic table.

24. Softium (So): This is a squashable metal that can be cut with a dull knife, but it can be very explosive when exposed to water. It has an atomic mass of 23
amu.

25. Bananium (Bn): This ingredient has similar chemical properties to Softium and Metium, but is heavier than both.

26. Abundium (A): This is the ninth most abundant fundamental in the universe. It is a metal with 12 protons in its nucleus.

Thanks, if you helped, I LOVE YOU! lol
Oh sorry:
# Conclude from each clue carefully.
# Use information you have learned about using the atomic number and atomic mass numbers to support you match the alien elements to ours.
# When you have figured out which of our elements the alien element matches, place the exotic symbols in the periodic table below, next to Earths symbol for that element.
# You can copy and paste the periodic provisions into a word processing document or use this downloadable version of the periodic table to complete and submit.

What is the long part of the vacuum cleaner called?

http://www.productappeal.com/photos/unca tegorized/miele_luna_s4580_canister_vacu um_cleaner.jpg

it's the desire metal part that's connected to the tube. How is that called?
By the long metal part, I mean the one that has the airway in it.

It's the "staff" and onto that you can connect an "extension tube"

Vacuum Tubes

Before chips there were only tubes.

Suzanne Anton queries Enerpro's contract at Vancouver's Olympic Village

In a phone interview.

Unlike most Vancouver residents, those living at the Southeast False Creek neighbourhood get two energy bills: one from B.C. Hydro for electricity, and a second from Enerpro for heating, hot water, cooling, and cold water.

It’s not only 80 Walter Hardwick Avenue that Enerpro covers. According to the company’s website, a “solution” from its “customizable, energy management systems” was selected for the entire neighbourhood of 1,100 residential units. All of the suites have energy meters provided by the company.

Neuhaus Labs T-2 Integrated Vacuum Tube Amplifier Review - AVRev.com

On the cover, the T-2 looks like a tube amp integrated other - because it is. Shortly after receiving my fellow Clansman Neuhaus has made a hit, and I invited my listening to the Lodge for a look-see.
