Hello

I've at most moved into a new house and got a new washing machine, let me get straight to the point...well basically the new washing machine nothing but takes cold water, but when i try and connect the tube from the washing machine to the main cold water up under the sink, water spurts everywhere i have tighten to much nor have let it too loose... it seems to spurt water from just above where you tighten it, i positive the rubber pipe should be stiff and steady at the water connection but mine just doesnt seem to do this...any idea's? for a tester i connected it to the hot H supply under the sink and it seems fine...but it's just the cold mains

By the way there is a rubber washer in the hose, it works pointed on the hot water supply under the sink but the cold is having issue's ...
