Where do I power my Kenwood head unit?

When I bought my kenwood kvt 514 radio, I had Bestbuy Fit it for me. It works fine, but the genius wired and soddered the power wire to a fuse in my car's fuse box. In place of of going through the hassle of going back to Bestbuy and having them say that "Our professionals KNOW HOW to install rocker units" and "That's not OUR handy work." What can I use as a permanent power source so I can do it in fairness?

well you should have a pos wire in your dash for the stereo. you can buy the adaptor kit from walmart for like $6 or less and its nice-looking easy to install. you just connect the same wires together from the adaptor to the wires from the stereo and it'll work once you boost it all in.

or

you can just use that wire that the best buy guy did. best to always have a fuse connected to a source of power

or you can manually couple a power wire from the battery to the stereo.

What kind of subwoofers should i get?

I have an mitsubishi mirage 1998 and of assuredly it is a compact car. I know nothing about cars and so forth. So i was wondering how many subs should i get to go in its trunk. I went on cardomain and people had alot of things so im make of confused. What size subs, how many and what kind. Also what kind of amp should i get also looking a mono just for the subs unhesitatingly now. I have a kenwood excelon KDC-X693 radio if that helps.
I just picked out an Kicker CompVR 07DCVR124 4-Ohm 2 Subwoofers In Flue Box ◦Peak: 1600 watts
◦RMS: 800 watts

Changing Dead Battery Kills Jeep's Stereo

As the owner of a 2005 Jeep Liberty I have been generally happy with the vehicle. Well, that is up until a few months ago during the winter when my Jeep's battery gave up the ghost.

The Jeep came with a stock 6 CD changer with a model name of BRQ. Leave it to Mopar to come up with such an imaginative name. There are also BRK and BRS models to name a few. This had been a pretty decent CD changer up until my battery died and I stopped at a local big box store for a replacement battery. Upon installing the new battery, I noticed that although the AM/FM portion of the radio/changer still worked, I could no longer select "CD" from the menu. It was as though CD functionality was completely erased from the units menu.
