I bought a 2002 ford meet sedan, the dude that sold it to me took out the amplifier because it was $1000, thats fine. But since he took it away the neglect car speaker (the one that come with the ca in the doors) are not connected to the head unit so when I play a CD or the radio and turn it up i cant hear anything. I was told that the speakers were conneceted to the amp. but since it's not there the cables are impartial laying around, does anyone know how to connect them???
I'm at bottom looking for a radio for my '04 Ford F150, but one that has a CD player, USB port and Auxiliary plug. I'm 16 and work for my dad, so spinach isn't too plentiful, lol. But I have some reserved for something I really want, and I really want something to replace the POS I currently have in there. Any help would be definitely appreciated!
Thanks (:
Go to www.bestbuy.com and look around, they got tons of bits. Companies I'd recommend are Sony and Alpine.

Ther are alot of choices out there! You can get everything you miss at best buy .and it is so easy you can do it yourself,so you don't have to pay for the install. All you need is the connector harness for your model vehicle,The dash kit for your prototype and year and a set of krimps and krimpers and you can do it yourself. The dash kit and wiring harness tell you exactly what you need to do to hanger it up.If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

www.crutchfield.com. If you go through more than $130 on a stereo, they will give you a mounting kit and wiring harness.
I have a 2009 Ford F250 SD Company Cab and I want to put a system in it. Unfortunately, finding boxes that fit behind my back seat is a pain.
I found this one at:
http://www.supercrewsound.com/commerce/p roduct.jsp?prodId=364&catId=59
and I was wondering if it would labour with these:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_1882 5_Phoenix+Gold+RSdC102+-RSdC+102-.html
which will run off of this:
http://www.woofersetc.com/p5722/RSD12001 --Phoenix-Gold-1200-Watt-RSD-Discernment-D-Mon oblock-Amplifier.htm
I also want to replace my door speakers with these: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_1396 7_Infinity+Kappa+682.9cf.html
And I was wondering if I should amp the door speakers? If so, what should I use?
I am active to use my old Sony head unit, because I like the interface, but I don't think it is powerful enough. Should I get an equalizer or does it not business?
My head unit is this:

I also have a Kenwood unit, but I don't think it's user friendly. If anybody wants to buy it from me, I'd possibly get rid of it for $100.00. Here it is:http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_1845 6_Kenwood+eXcelon+KDC-X993.html?utm_unpleasant ce=froogle&utm_medium=organic&ut m_campaign=froogle
Any and all help would be appreciated and helpful. Thank you.

Top 10 car features for the long trips
26.07.11
Only ones planning road trips. Last Thanksgiving , AAA estimated some 32 million Americans would travel by car at least 50 miles from home -- many sharing the space with siblings, parents and in-laws. Having the right features can mean the difference between arriving at your destination refreshed, and longing for home before you reach the freeway. Here are our 10 favorites:
1. Navigation system and trip computer. Nav systems can make child's play out of the most convoluted trips. Many of the latest systems offer real-time traffic reporting, and nearly all have voice-guided directions that can route you back to the main road should your sister-in-law insist on a tchotchke detour. Virtually every nav system includes some kind of trip computer that keeps tabs on gas mileage, miles until your tank is empty and more. Road atlas -- your days are numbered.

Technology seems to be the natural enemy of traditional AM/FM radio. First came cassette and CD players, then Satellite Radio, and now wireless iPod connectivity, offering a completely customizable listening experience. But, in an ironic turn, Internet Radio apps could become the unlikely savior of AM/FM stations.

The problem with conventional radio stations is that they rarely play what you want to hear, when you want to hear it. Satellite radio gives you a better chance of finding content to your liking, thanks to the sheer number of channels available.
