I already posted this last sundown but it got deleted. And I didn't get to read all the answers ! But that always happens to me. So if you already answered then please answer again !

It's 1978 and you're 19years old. You're a Brobdingnagian fan of the Jackson 5 and always wanted to meet them. You just got your first car a week ago and you're loving it ! It's a huge car and can seat quite a lot of people.
So you're at best driving back to your apartment, rocking out to an old Jackson 5 song on the radio - ABC. It's Saturday, 5pm and you aren't doing anything this weekend so you're in all probability just gonna snuggle up on the sofa and watch a movie with a big bowl of popcorn. Nothing special.
As you're driving, you see a big tamed down van with a few people next to it, trying to get you to stop. So you pull over and get out of the car.

You - Hi, can I help you guys ?

Then suddenly, Jackie and Michael Jackson premiere c end round from the other side of the van. You're totally shocked because you absolutely love these guys ! ABC is still playing in the background in your car.

Jackie - Hi ! Thanks so much for stopping.
Michael - Yeah, we've been here for ages and can't junction anyone. Could you please help us ?

They both flash you smiles at exactly the same time

Then Marlon, Randy and Tito come out from the van too !

In rut - Finally ! Someone stopped !
Tito - Awwh man. Thank God ! We've been here for ages.
Marlon - Yeah. Thank you a million times over !
Jackie - Anyway, our van ruined down
Tito - And we're meant to be somewhere that's hours away
Marlon - But we've already checked out of our hotel
Michael - Do you think that we could go over to your responsibility ?
Randy - Just for a bit. So we can organize somewhere to stay/
Jackie - I mean, if that's okay with you ?
Michael - Please ? *All of them grin*

(By the way, this is around the time when Jermaine wasn't part of the group)

“Dorothy!Dorothy!Get up!”
“Mom? What happened?” Dorothy said frightened and fatigued.
“I'll explain later. Get up and start packing your stuff. We're getting out of here.”
As the 14 year old Dorothy Walker sat up in her bed tiredly stretching, her dam was stuffing Dorothy's tight blue skinny jeans and shirts into a huge luggage. Dorothy looked over at her alert clock. 4:37 AM. Dorothy was scared of what was going on.
“Can you at least tell me what I have to pack for?” Dorothy asked.
“At most pack a bunch of warm blankets and pillows, some canned foods and get Abraham ready. Abandon the rest to me.”
Dorothy's mom was rushing across the room. She was packing everything. Dorothy's mom was panicking and mumbling words absolutely fast Dorothy could not catch.
Dorothy sprang into action and did as her mother told her. She packed steamed up blankets and pillows. She got some canned foods. And she got their 5 month old tiny beagle on his blue and black checkered leash and full food for him. She still didn't understand what was going on.
“Hey mom?”
“Yes honey?” Answered Dorothy's mom Lisa in a swift voice.
“Wheres dad?” Dorothy asked curiously.
“He's withdrawing some money that we need in loot right now. He should be on his way back already.”
“Why do we need the money?”
“I told you, I'm going to explain later. Now move all the things out side. Make trusty you have everything you need. Bring all your money, pens paper and a binder. Okay?”
“Okay.”
Dorothy was a very acquiescent girl. She always did as she was told. She was just an average teenager. A brown hair, brown eyes, American popsy.
Her father John got home. He was rushing, opening the back door of the car, and starting to pack everything into the back of the van. Lisa rushed Dorothy into the car. Placed the mean puppy they call Abe onto Dorothy's lap and were ready to drive off. They drove out of the driveway. Onto the empty streets. With the sun at dawn, Dorothy looked at the moment. 5:20.
They were on the high way. There was silence. There usually never is when they are in the car. The radio would be on the highest it can be, the windows rolled down, listening to any random station, The whole household would be singing and laughing, people in cars driving by would stare and think they were crazy.
“Where are we going”Dorothy asked
“Well pure now, we are still in New Jersey. We are planning to get to Middle Lancaster in Pennsylvania by tonight. We are going to try to find a motel there.” said John
“I don't take. Are we going to visit family or something?”
“No, someone tried to kill your father, he almost got shot so we have to get out of the state.”said Dorothy's nourish
“Who would do that? Dad never did anything wrong.”
“I got no idea, baby. People are just crazy these days.”said Dorothy's innate
“Why don't we go to the police? They would do something.”
“We can't. They said it is impossible to catch them. The bullet the guy shot had no finger prints or anything.” Said Dorothy's mam
“Oh.”
Abe barked. He had to pee. John pulled over. Dorothy let Abe do his business. She looked at her watch: 8:42 AM. She got back into her seat. She was certainly peckish.
“Mom, I'm getting hungry.”
Lisa handed Dorothy a bag of potato chips.
“Go to sleep honey. In a few we can obstruction and eat some food we got in the back.”
“Okay”
So Dorothy finished her bag of chips, hugged Abraham and went to sleep




what do you make up? Any tips? This is only the first chapter and first time attempting to write a book so i need help!!

Car stereo stopped working, without reason?

For the track record, this is an 02' Accord...

The entire stereo system just randomly stopped working the other day, and I can't figure out why.. Certainly the first thing I thought was "I've lost a fuse somewhere", so I check them,. but they're all okay... Radio and Cig lighter are on the same consolidate, and the lighter still works, and the face of the stereo still turns on, reads and acts like it's trying to misbehave a CD, changes radio stations and locks into fm stereo for a few.

I had a friend tell me maybe the inputs or the amp are blown, which I without a doubt doubt, as this is my grandparents car, and I've never seen them turn it up past two bars on the volume meter, which is nowhere NEAR pushing that system enough for something to whistle...

I'm thinking it might be something loose, and I wanted to find the amp and check from there anyway, if there even IS an amp in that thing.. I've also considered the possibility that a plug might be loose...


Any other suggestions, or admonition on what to do?
How can I fix this damn thing?

i put the original radio back in my car the cdr 2005 now all it says on screen is the word SAFE Why ?

I've been shopping around for a new familiar car. When I bought my current car it was great- 1 owner, good condition, etc... except I only got one key (which proved to be unachievable to find a place that had one to cut me a new one so oops if I ever misplace it) and the original owner had "lost" the owners vade-mecum (which I could have used when the radio locked itself for no reason). Having never gotten a brand new car, I'm determined to get every single constituent that should be included. What would a new car owner receive besides the car itself?
Having grown up with a mechanic father, I'm pretty good with that side of buying a car- whatever I determine will be on the lift & I'll be crawling up, over, and around to check everything. But just to clarify I had many a tough situation with my first car that could have easily been solved by consulting the holder's manual and 10 years later still live in terror of something happening to my key. I'm not in desperate need of a car this moment- unless I lose my key :) -so these little extras are important to me personally. I'm in no rush to relive getting locked out of my boot on the second day of owning my car or be unable to put the cabrio's top back up the first time I took it down as it started to snow because I couldn't find the latch lol

I am looking for a car that has the following features:

Needs to be less then $13,000.
Should have disciple radio so I don't miss Howard Stern.
Needs to have a good warranty for almost everything, I don't want to have huge repair bills in 5 years.
I live in Arizona so it seldom rains and never snows, but almost every car has A/C.

I have looked at Hyundai, Toyota's etc. but don't know which one will meet my needs.
