how to play a DVD on an LG TV?

I have a Sony DVD player and an LG TV. When I try to deport oneself a DVD it loads and everything on the DVD player but doesn;t show up on the TV.
no i did not change the input how do i do that

i draw a handy cam from my friend. It is sony carl zeiss vario tessar DCR-DVD 605. after i have done record ..after i finalize it all the film had group automatically by the cam in one chapter....under the chapter have a lot of title...
i wanna edit the file...but it only can show under windows media players...other than that..it only show the 1st designate...
anyone pls help me..

VCR playback problems and strange symbols on TV?

I have a Sony Bravia LCD TV at the wink of an eye, and recently we bought a Toshiba HDD, VCR and DVD Combo player. It is connected to the AV1 socket, and it plays DVDs, channels and HDD recordings impeccably. However, when I play the VCR setting, playback flashes constantly, interrupting the viewing significantly. When the screen goes unornamented, sound still comes through, but image does not. The AV1 sign in the top left corner of the screen appears to silver from a box with an arrow pointing into it to a box with two dots inside it, and the arrow on the edge of the box. Could anyone shed some light into what this means, and also how I can fix my VCR playback on my recorder?

Where should I go to get a DC power connector fixed?

My daughter shattered the in jail DC 9.5V connector of her SONY portable DVD player. Where can I go to get this fixed and how long should it take? How much should it cost? Is this just soldering a new one on the the circuit put up?

Would Radio Shack be able to help me?

Present Shack may be able to help you find the parts to replace/repair the connector. It may just be as simple as soldering a new one on. One idea would be to find a computer repair shop that services laptops. This type of damage is fairly common on older laptops. Not guaranteed of the costs.

I bought a UK DVD for my dad but he has a US dvd player. Does anyone know how to unlock the region lockout?
