When you download movies off the internet in AVI constitution, what is the best software to convert it to a DVD and second what is the best program to burn that DVD to a disc to watch in your home dvd player? acknowledgement you! I'm running Windows 7 home premium 64bit

Home Theatre Audio setup question?

i bought the LG HT904SA DVD player/ Utter system and when i connected it to my TV i could only get the speakers to work when i was watching a movie on the DVD player but for all my other stuff like my xbox it didn't travail. my TV is a Sony Bravia KDL-42V4100 if that helps and also i tried using the Red and White audio cables they way my old element was setup and that didn't work either any suggestions on how to fix it? thanks

This scale model television has a built in "surround" system which is a bit deceiving because it only works on the TWO built-in television speakers. The outputs on the back, side and front champion the addition of extra equipment, like your dvd player. The actual television is a "pretend" enclose, because it uses the two built-in speakers.
They don't tell you that in the stores.

I Have a Panasonic plasma TV with a rogers wire and DVD/VCR player and i think i will soon be buying a home theater system ....
so in total i will have 4 remotes....is there any way i can use only one remote for all three things??
please cure..

surround sound help please?

i have at best bought a home cinema system and i have the main box thing with the dvd player connected to the tv via a HDMI cable, i also have the dvd player connected to my xbox 360 via an optical chain. The xbox sound comes out of the surround sound speakers perfect, however, the when watching tv the sound doesnt come to pass out of the surround sound speakers. have i connected it wrong? or do i need to use another connection?

the cinema system has hdmi, scart, component interrelationship etc

Returning an item - what are my rights?

So 2 days ago a bought a compact dvd player as a gift from a high street shop - one of those small ones that sell different brands. I regularly don't go there but I really liked the item to I decided to give it a go. Because we want to use it also as a normal player (connected to the tv) I asked the guy and he said it would effort. When I got home though, I noticed:
1- first of all, the plug is NOT uk, but european. The guy gave me an adaptor saying "I'll give you this in case you go abroad", and I made the gaffe of trusting him and not checking the real reason behind it..
2 -the cable to connect to the tv makes a weird noise when it's connected to the player:
3 - because the player is tell imported, and my tv is from UK, it must have a different way of connecting as when I connected it my tv said "no signal", and it doesn't business with the scart.

Now I am very upset about this, and I am going to return it today, but what are my rights since the shop is not part of a big chain? The guy told me it had one year covenant and in case it was faulty I could change it, and I have the receipt.

TV, DVD player stolen from fire-damaged house in Horace, ND

HORACE, N.D. – The owner of a rural Horace home that was heavily damaged by fire on Aug. 21 reported Monday that a television and DVD/VCR player were stolen from the house in recent days.

Donald Tessier told the Cass County Sheriff’s Office that he was checking on his property at 1602 100th Ave. S. and was going to move his TV and DVD/VCR player from the damaged home to a mobile home parked next to it, but when he went to retrieve the items they were gone, sheriff’s Sgt. DuWayne Nitschke said.

the SV-HR7500. It's a DVD player, DVD burner, it comes with a 160Gb HDD and is Mpeg-4 compatible (DivX certified). This product is not available yet in Korea, but it's just a matter of time before it's released onto the market (for an undisclosed price). Hopefully this makes the states.
