Lately I've been wondering exactly how to feel about my convictions in regards to music and art in general. I thought after a while it was a good idea to get some other opinions to know exactly where I stand.
I hate mainstream music. With a passion. As a songwriter and general listener, I believe it's at, as someone else on Y!A put it, the most watered-down, formulaic version of personal creativity. I prefer electronic music, and as a producer, I believe that the production side is pretty much the exact same. Everyone copies everyone else (like when T-Pain revamped auto-tune, it sounded sick... but now everyone and their mother uses it) and I feel like nobody really pushes the envelope sonically or musically.
I know about the dangers of repetition and groupthink, basic psych 101... an idea that gets repeated to us often enough changes our mind, and we interpret it as "our own idea". My question is, is refusing to let people put on a Lady Gaga CD in my car or put a justin bieber cd in my cd player taking it too far? I think it's acceptable, but I just wanted to get a second opinion.
You're over complicating the issue.
If you don't like certain music than you just don't like certain music although I can say that yes it does get annoying when ppl constantly talk about artists they hate.
We get it, how about talk about bands and artists that you do like.

So, I'm planning to go to the mall tomorrow. I always like to stop in FYE. There unfortunately is a guy there that I don't like. I've been going to the mall like every weekend for the past month, So I keep having to see him. The first time I went with my friend Sarah and I didn't for one know she even knew this guy (I knew the guy at the store because he used to date one of my friend's brother) but she did. I didn't have a problem with the guy. I just knew of him. Well while I was just standing there waiting for her to finish talking to him, the guy was like "Does he ever talk." I was like "How are you?" then we went into another section of the store and Sarah knew everyone. So she kept trying to get the jerk I don't like among many other people to help me "find stuff". I'm not the type to ask for help in stores, I just wanted to browse. And if I couldn't find something I could easily look it up on the mini monitors. I told Sarah and the workers I didn't need help but she kept getting the guy I don't like to try and Help me. Ugh and then when we finally were getting ready to leave, we had to talk to the jerk again. And while we were the jerk was trying to impress Sarah by you know after saying "Have a good one" to a leaving customer then stick their tongue out at them as they turned around. The jerk again then asked If I was gunna talk, I was like "maybe one day". Then we left and I was pissed. It's like sorry, not everyone is gunna love you. Sorry I don't wanna talk to you.
Then Sarah and I came back again the next weekend. When we walked in the jerk said "Eww. why are you with him? he never talks." I think Sarah laughed, I can't remember if I said anything. We then went to explore more and the jerk started harassing me about how he could help me and crap and that I needed to start talking to him. He pissed me off so much. Then when Sarah and I were leaving the store, the jerk was across the room waving to Sarah. Since I only saw I just flipped him off as I left. I hope he saw.
Then, I came back last weekend and he once again was there. When I arrived I was with the girl of who's brother had dated this jerk (Not Sarah). The jerk was playing TAG with his co workers and running all over the place. It's like, alright, seriously, why have I been searching for a job for two years but yet this knuckle head has a job? But that beside the point. Haha. I was shocked he didn't say something to my friend right from the start considering he dated my friend's brother. Then while we were in the soundtracks section I remember, he was like "Dude, you are here every weekend" I was like "I know." He was like "why?" I was like "Because I like music?" . He was like "Do you have to come here every weekend." I was like "Do you have to be an asshole?" He was like "No only on weekends." I was like "ok". God, he pissed me off. I soon left after that.
I'm most likely going to the mall tomorrow with another totally different friend and plan on stopping in FYE once again. I most likely will buy a CD. I'm terrified if I pay with like my ATM card the dude's gunna steal my # if I happen to get ringed up by him. Ugh. I'm not going to stop going to my favorite store because of someone I like. But idk what to do. I can't report him because I flipped him off and called him an asshole. I at that point would get banned from the store. Advice please?

Ok, so, I have an ipod dock which is pretty big, but I also have a brilliant CD player with speakers that are amazing! The iPod dock has these things in the back: The lead to the plug socket, and AUX. The CD Player has these things in the back: All the red and black connection wires to the two joining speakers, a headphones hole, USB hole, and a memory card socket. (Sorry about my vague language, i really know hardly anything about technology).
I've tried using the AUX cord from the dock to the headphones socket of the CD player, but that makes the sound from the CD player only play on the dock. How do I get all the speakers to play music from my iPod? Is it possible?
Thanks.

Independent music we lost in the fire

Some 165 independent music labels are struggling to restock after rioters burned a London warehouse to the ground last week – but back-catalogue gems are feared lost forever
IN THE MIDST of last week’s rioting in the UK, plenty of things were destroyed. But along with the British media asking questions of its society, and victims of looting, criminal damage and arson surveying the damage, the independent music industry was thrown into turmoil, as a Sony DADC warehouse, used by Pias – a large marketing, sales and distributor of stock for independent labels – was burned to the ground in London. With it, millions of CDs went up in flames, entire back-catalogues of labels were destroyed, and right now, around 165 labels are still working flat-out to pick up the pieces.
You can also buy clothing and apparels with the clothing free gift cards. Since they come in lots of denominations, they can always be used at the various discount stores, speciality and designer stores as well as the various departmental stores.
Creating an MP3 from music CDs has two major parts. First, you must rip WAV files from the CDs, and then convert them to MP3 files. Both are time consuming, but if you have more than one PC, you can speed up the process.

Pr a description of the sensation efficient composed music especially on fetuses, infants, toddlers and parents
"We were just visited by a couple and their eight-month-old fiancee. On one side during the evening, she was itching and distress. I put on the CD "The Tales of the brackish" CD series "Music for Sprog mater and jovial," and she started to mind, and calm with her mother. After a period irritable she slept - and my young child to be born "danced" in my belly."(Ann, mother-to-be)

I have a cluster of used Music Cds that has burned more than them. "I can eradicate the music?
I do not skilled in anything about these discs. A mistress gave them to a cook up. I want a nil CD to prevent a Power Suggestion appearance. The CDs are. 1) * 52X CD-R recordable * * * Memorex 700MB 80 min 2.700 MB). Maxwell CD-R 700 MB * * 80 and 3 min. Sony CD-R) * Memorex was a ditty about him and when I tried to cross out the music in a popup window said "Not able to displace Run to earth 1:. Files on the CD are infer from-only can still replication the files back in the recordable CD, which will put back files already on the disc. "
CD-Rs are reasonably and only effects for stable storage of statistics, like music or anything else you will not qualify or off forever. CD-WR is much more extravagant a CD-R and assign you to assemble or cut anything from them. It would be larger emit on a suggestion energy preferably of buying a CD-WR. Rush drives are more accessible and last more than the CD-WR. Well CD-Rs are low-priced and can buy many of them. So if you impecuniousness to keep the support in one, would not a bad dream. you necessary a helpless CD though. Essential over, only note things on a CD when you are definitely trusty you have everything you hunger to author a register there before start.
