A decade ago, I had a dream that I was in the basement of my old home watching a Speed Channel rerun of the 2001 New Hampshire 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Suddenly, I disappeared and was transported to Egypt. I'm riding in my mom's van with her and my sister and I ask them "What's going on?". They tell me why: The country is in peril and needs to be saved.
They drop me off in a parking lot and I find myself at the top of a cliff with an Arcade room. There, I meet 4 kids (2 boys and 2 girls), who I befriended very well. I ask them what we have to do. They tell me that we have to fight bad guys. Once the bad guys arrive, we started fighting. The kids quickly defeated their enemies. However, I almost lost. My enemy pushed me to the edge, but I quickly came up with something. He tried leaving, thinking he has won. But I kicked him really hard in the stomach and he flew of the cliff. The country was saved and the kids congratulate me by cheering and at the same time, they jumped all over me in a fit of celebration. Then, my dad comes, tells us what a great job we did, and decides to treat us with a Pizza Party.
We had Pizza, Coke, Breadsticks, and much more.
After we cleaned up, we got money to play the games. They had basketball, NASCAR, and many more. After 5-10 minutes of game-playing, we decided to go home. But, we all had to jump off the cliff because there was no safe way of getting down. We all made different noises. Mine was "Blue skidoo, we can too! BoWhoe!!".
We ended up landing back in the parking lot, we said goodbye, and me and my family drove back to the gates. Then, we get transported back to the house.
By the time I was back in the basement, the race was over and I ended up seeing Robby Gordon celebrating in Victory Lane.
Then, all of a sudden, I heard "Tonight, I Celebrate My Love" by Roberta Flack & Peabo Bryson. I then wake up and realize it's playing on the radio.
It was weird.
It's the best dream I've ever had in my life.
It sure sounds like you had a lot of fun in the dream, and you remembered so many details. The thing about when we dream, we often can incorporate our surroundings into dreams. Such as the radio, your subconscious can hear the music and it got mixed into your dreams. This happens also when someone is sleeping with the TV on.
Personally, I cannot sleep with a TV or radio on for this reason. Whatever my subconscious can hear it turns into a dream. Some times that can be good, and other times not. If there is music on, many times I wake up singing with the song. So I keep the room quiet. This is more then likely how all this got into your dreams too. Who knows, the radio might have had a commercial on about NASCAR or basketball or anything else that landed in your dream.

The definitive version of First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - Roberta Flack 1972
Roberta Flack showing how the song should be sung. Roberta made the defining version and the best. It doesn't stray from the delicate tune ...
Clef Notes: Ashford & Simpson and the 80 Cents

I got to the ticket window at the Hirsch Coliseum, baby whiskers on my chin, and found myself 80 cents short. The ticket people would make “no exceptions” and turned me away. Undaunted, I headed into the abysmal parking lot where folks were partying with much joy, looking to bum 80 cents from some sympathetic soul. Yes, I was the proverbial lone white face in this celebratory sea of humanity, beneath the stars and a mysterious cloud of smoke. I knew that I could get my ass kicked, but had no thought or fear of death. It was a simpler time.

I recently wrote a compendious article about the enumerate of the Don McLean paradigm "American Pie".
In penmanship the contention, I have another # 1 was reminded, "Coup Me Softly" by Roberta Flack, who topped the charts in 1973.
It occurred to me that was written, "Decimation Me Softly" on or inspired by a carrying-on of Don McLean. So I stony to get the facts to rights as viable.
It is a great extent reported to find that "Massacre Me Softly" was written (or inspired by) aDon McLean concert by Roberta Flack sophisticated. This is not the situation.
It is also to a large (and patently counteract), which documented the choir member Lori Lieberman, the long story that Roberta Flack has not inspired.
