I have a Whirlpool Estate gas dryer. The heat comes on but doesn't stay on long enough to dry the clothes completely. This is on the extra dry setting high heat. Lower setting on timed dry for thirty minutes seems to work okay.. Took the dryer apart and cleaned all the lint and dust from the back including the blower fan. Cannot see the flame because the gas valve and heating assembly is under the drum. Cleaning made no difference.
make sure outside vent is clean through wall, and vent is not bent closed, the easiest way to eliminate vent problem is to pull dryer out away from wall and unhook vent and dry a load of clothes, if it dries ok you have vent problem, there should be a plastic pop out on front of dryer that you can pop out and see flame, if flame is not burnning long enough it counld be coils or thermotat, it has a 155 degree thermostat on it so you can ck the temp, it should heat to 155-165 and cool down to 120-130 and heat back up and repeat , --with dryer empty

Gas dryers use a heat sensor switch (located in the exhaust duct) that cycles the gas solenoid on and off to regulate the heat. I would suspect the heat sensor is degraded or worn out as it is designed to operate at a specific temperature. The senor operates like a switch that is tied to the gas control valve. When the heat rises above the sensor's threshold it opens the circuit and shuts off the gas. When the sensor cools back down it closes the circuit and turns the gas back on. This cycle repeats until the clothes are dry or the machine is stopped. A degraded sensor may take longer to cool down which increases the drying time. I replaced the sensor in my old Maytag dryer and it cost about $25. You can replace it yourself. Just unplug the dryer because the sensor has 120 volts on the wires.
Hi. I’ll just get right to the point. I’m a guitarist/composer who has decided to not use a drum machine or drum software anymore. My father is a professional drummer for almost 50 years and has great drum sets. WHAT I WANT: To record individual drums, isolated and independent from the others, one at a time and at different velocity levels. Compile a drum sound library of my own, and trigger them using MIDI and my own equipment. I HAVE: A very good DAW on my iMac, 3 high quality condenser mics, 1 dynamic mic, a MIDI controller surface board with its own clock, timing, quantization, etc. All I need is a library of simple 1 to 2 second long WAV files that I can trigger. THE REAL QUESTIONS. How do I make these individual samples in stereo? How many mics should I use for each drum? I’m well aware of the importance of mic placing, but do I really need more than say, 2 mics for each drum? Should I put 3 in there spaced out one further than the next? Keep in mind I can pull these WAVE files up in my DAW for further editing. I just need a little guidance. making each drum sound in stereo is the big questions though. Thanks for reading all this.

I bought this a couple of years ago and I never really got around to learning how to play it. I need a little extra money for college, this is why i'm selling it. I bought it lightly used but the heads are in pretty bad shape (dented and out of tune) also, i need the cymbal stands for other purposes so should I sell the cymbals separately without the stands or just not bother?
I bought this for $350. It is a 5 piece Peace (brand) drum set. what would be a good price for this? thanks so much!

I am in the 11th grade. My dream has been to go to an ivy league college since I was learned about them. I make good grades, a 4.0 GPA, vice president of class, Battalion Commander, member of Mayors Youth Advisory, Marching Band member, Honor Band member and I help my grandmother to raise my younger cousin. My college of choose would be Cornell University. What else can I do to get noticed as a great student? These are all the things that have come to mind. I have also thought of joining the track team and become the Drum Major next year. I only have one year left, if that, please help me become a freshman at Cornell University. Thanks for your future comments.
Rowan Atkinson - Invisible Drum Kit
Rowan Atkinson comes across an invisible drum kit while sweeping. He's not too bad with it.
Should I buy Theo a drum kit?
07.10.11
My 4-year-old son Theo has a sneaky sense of rhythm.
Sneaky in the sense that he’s not an outward mover and shaker of his butt. However, his proudest achievement in life is his ability to snap both his fingers. And left to his own devices he dances, shimmies, and shakes.
Many times I’ve left music on in the house as I walked outside for an errand only to return to find him doing this thing in the living room or bopping along as he transits from one side of the house to the other, Superman cape flowing, boy-hero on a musically driven mission.
