On a 96 Toyota Camry I replaced the distributor. Then the starter and head lights did not work. I didn't unplug any wires so that's not it, i checked all fuses outside and inside the car. I put in a push button for the starter and the car runs fine. I just cant get the lights to work. ps. the parking and brake lights do work.
i have a 05 nissan titan, its a powerful beast but its electronicly limited not to go over 180 km/h and it really pisses me off seeing a jerk in a camry or a chevy passing by me at 185-200. Any idea how i can remove this limiter? Appreciate ur help :)

My cousin has a 1982 Mercedes that he has offered to sell to me for 2,500. I have a 2005 toyota camry. Would I be completely crazy if I sold my 2005 camry and bought my cousins 1982 Mercedes?
I'm also considering the idea of keeping my camry and just buying the mercedes. Would it be worth buying and having? or would maintainance costs be too much to even drive it part time?
I'm an entry level software engineer at a startup in Silicon Valley, most of the staff here drive entry level cars, bosses drive family cars like camry, lexus RX350, etc. and CEO drive Mercedes E400.
If I buy myself a BMW 650 or a Porsche 911, would it reflect badly on me??
P.S. i do have the money to buy either with cash, money is not a problem for me as i have side businesses besides my day job.
ok well my grandparents gave me thier 1996 camry with 384,000 miles on it and it has an oil leak. well i had my father look at it and wipe away the oil and he sprayed it with somthing to clear out the iol that had been leaking. he told me it could be a simple fix he said that the oil filter might be no good. but shure enough it started leaking a little more oil when i started the car up. this time there was no oil coming from the oil filter, and nothing coming from some tubes that ran near it.
it was clear that the oil was coming out of the metal, below the oil filter. thats possible... right? because there was no other place were the oil could be coming from. so my question is if anyone has that model camry, or has experience with cars, is this gping to be a major problem that is going to cost allot of money? or is it just somthing that needs to be sealed? and how to fix this problem?
thank you, stg

New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. or NUMMI was the redeployment of the former GM Fremont Assembly plant operated from 1960 to 1982. It was reopened in 1984 in a joint venture between GM and Toyota to manufacturer vehicles for both brands.
GM hoped to learn all about lean manufacturing from the Japanese auto giant and Toyota gained their first U.S. production facility and a chance to try out their approach to the building of automobiles with an American workforce.
The first models produced at the NUMMI plant were the Chevy Nova (1984–1988) followed by the Geo Prizm (1989–1997), the Chevy Prizm (1998–2002) the Hilux (1991–1995) a predecessor to the Tacoma, and the Toyota Voltz, the Japanese right-hand drive version of the Pontiac Vibe.

Two examples of reasonable technical Toyota Avalon and Camry. They are off a pair of well built, reliable sedan that will not be entering any car buyer, but take care of an area which has undoubtedly facilitated essentially pulling the trigger of an advantage.
Even with its problems of performance and publicity, Toyota still sold a ton of cars that stretch. And if you're looking for a sedan full of weight, Avalon should be checked, while the Camry remains at or within reach of the top American high-selling midsize sedans after year.
Here's a look at both the Avalon and Camry 2011:
AVALON: While some modest changes in style have enchanted homes in the 2011 model year, the Avalon is trustworthy to its values pit. This is a solid sedan that provides the basics - and the manipulation of race, a reasonable space, peace of mind travel, commitment-resistant, and does command a whopping car payment....

Leather hidden, moonroof and seamanship system are nearby at uncommonly get, but the “corrupt” conveyance is sufficiently equipped that buyers won’t towards they’ve runty-changed themselves.
Our prove mechanism, however, was priced at $32,400, due to the carriage of the Moonroof bundle, which also included fog lights, illuminated haughtiness mirrors and raise reading lamps.
If you appetite the put into words-activated Seamanship system, it arrives bundled with leather room surfaces, intensified power seats and four-disc CD participant, along with the Moonroof bundle, and brings the reward of a fully crowded Camry Mongrel to $36,535. Still, in my id, earmark-competitive with non-compound close vehicles.
