Itrip charging question?

now I am wondering what device will advert into the itrip itself, so that I can listen to music AND charge my ipod while driving. I am confused about what the port on the bottom of the itrip will look like. Wish relate in mind, this itrip is a very old model.
charge my ipod and listen to music.

If anyone could help, that would be fantastic.

Why doesn't my iPhone work with my iTrip?

I've been using my iTrip with my iPod for a large time now, and it has never given me any hassles. I've now bought myself a brand new iPhone, and i've got trouble. The iTrip charges my iPhone, but automatically plays my music, and I can't stop off it. I can pause it on the iPhone, but it just says TEL on my radio display. Can anybody help me fix this, or do I have to buy a new iTrip?
