I am selling my PS3 and possibly my 360 Elite to buy a new console and I don't know which console to buy. I'm really excited for reach and i love the design and look of the console(not to mention both controllers) but on the other end the regular slim is $100 cheaper. Any help would be appreciated?

im selling my wii right now and after i sold everything i should have $450, should i get an xbox 360 right now...or get a laptop now... or should i wait till say Christmas and get a SONY VAIO laptop? if i get a xbox which one....the elite or the new slim? im going to need the console...an extra contoller....cod mw2 or some good shooting game (NOT BFBC2, i have that for ps3) and live....i also kinda need a headset... so i need someone to help me decide...please...and if i get a laptop now what laptop should i get...i need one that can handle COD MW2 for pc....

Okay so its nothing to do with Sync'in the controller to the console, I am using 2 wireless pads one came with the Elite (bought 4 months ago) the other is a regular white wireless controller.
Both are using AA Batteries (not had chance to buy a plug and play kit yet...) So the first ELITE pad would power on during gameplay though it would just turn itself off, when pressing down on the Navigation button on the pad to re-connect the Navi Button would flash a very faint green....slowly becoming brighter until it finally connected...(batteries are new and have been replaced several times) Although now, it wont switch on at all!
And the same has started to happen with my white pad too :/ bought from two totally different stores .....I am thinking that a Plug and Play rechargeable battery pack may solve the issue, although it could be that the pad is just....f*****!
Any help would be laverly!!!
