I'm getting quite paranoid about the future, because I live in the UK, and there are some things which may take place in the future like...
* The UK government are going to impose harsh cuts, and I'll feel them by this time next year, and I'm frightened for the effect they will have on people like me, I am also in education at the minute and these cuts will affect me in finding placements.
* My neighbors, at the minute, whom me and my family are very close with, and have been for about 7 years now, are moving away. I'm quite frightened because these neighbors who are so kind and polite to me and my family, are moving away, and I've got no idea what kind of new neighbors could be moving in, but I know they won't be a patch on my current neighbors, at all.
* I've joined the Labour party, but my Grandfather who was a very staunch Labour supporter, died about 2 years ago, and I'm sad because he could have been a mentor to me, and I could have talked about my passion; politics, to him. But now that he's gone I feel like it was a big loss, since he could have been the main one to share stories with and debate over political matters. I so wish he was alive here today, I feel disheartened about this.
* I just did my exams, and I have mixed feelings about them, I know I worked hard studying for them, but whether I did good or not is a mixed feeling. If I do not do good, I may have to resit the year, and I don't want that prospect.
I am so worried for the future, can anyone please console me on this matter, thank you so much.

This is life - but I think you're over-analysing a lot of things.
There is nothing you can do about changes the government are making - if they're going to effect you drastically, you have to adapt - that's what everyone else has to do.
It's nice that you have good neighbours, but they have their own lives and are moving on - accept it and move on too...I'm sure if they wanted to they would still keep in contact with you and your family.
I don't know how old you are but maybe this is a good time for you to get a grip - you'll get through this and no doubt you'll feel like this again at some point in the future, but by then you'll know how to deal with the anxiety...not meant in a harsh way :)

Questions, If you concentrate just in the present , how much worry do you have, how much stress do you have, how much anxiety do you have? answer none. So where you are right now is where life exists, not in your head where only the future or the past exist, How can the future or the past exist when all things happen only in the present. Look at this way, make a plan to meet your friend which is clock time and then return to the present moment where life is real, most people will then carry on living next Thursday when you meet your friend. Its a normal habit we have been brought up to do, can you hear your parents saying, at half term, at xmas, when you leave school, when your qualifications have been finished, its future future future but actually all of life only happens now.
So spend more time in your body and not in your head, it takes practise but can you imagine living without worry and stress, can you imagine what the continual stress and tension does to your immune system.
Your past creates drama, the future creates stress and worry, but the mind and the ego don't want you to be at peace, they need you to be stressed and worried because when that happens you know who you are. Funny that!

Hello. I am having a wedding this weekend and I am borrowing a set of sound equipment from the school I teach at. I am playing music from my own desktop computer through the headphone jack to the speaker system. I'll try to give you guys what I know (which isn't much). The headphone jack connects to a Yamaha MX 200 mixing console which then runs to a Crown Power Base-3. The Crown connects to the speakers, a pair of Woodworx Wave Series Model WX 15 As. The problem is this: The speakers with a black plug is distorted or doesn't work (sounds like it may have blown once upon a time?). The red plugged one works fine. We tested just the red one through stereo to see how it sounded and it sounded great, BUT my fear is that some songs on my eight hour playlist will sound bad with only one speaker. I have no experience with stereo or mono (which I was reading about earlier), so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, i have fooled around a bit with fl studios but i realized i just wasnt experienced enough for that kind of program, so i decided to just start with trying some mixing a bit.
So i bought the hercules RMX console just to start out
Please give me some advice on where to start, and where to get music to use with this console!!
Thankyou! :D
ps~ i was just curious, what are chiptunes? and how do you make them :p (just a side question if anyone wants to answer)
These programs take time to learn. FL Studio is actually one of the easiest ones to learn, but you can also check some of the other listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_aud io_workstation
In case you end up getting FL Studio, you can get 10% discount on your first order from image-line with this promo link for new customers: https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=BACJBAA468

I have completed MGS4, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, and I hate the Resistance series. I also have an Xbox 360 and have gotten up to date with the Call of Duty, Battlefield, FEAR, Far Cry and Tom Clancy games on that console. (I had it for about 2 years before getting a PS3.) Also, I am not so sure about the mixed reviews I am seeing about MAG. I guess all I can say in looking for a good shooter now is... well, good luck answering this question. And please dont mention future titles, I am getting Medal of Honor for PS3 and really would like something to play until then. Thank you!
if ur looking for a first person shooter than get left 4 dead 2. if ur looking for a third person shooter get red dead redemption.

Next Gen Console Expectations
13.05.11
Their mouse wanders to the screenshots is pretty low. There is a reason why most of us have replaced our Atari 2600 with an Xbox/PS3 in the family room. For me, I'll need to see a serious leap in visual technology to consider a new console. No, I'm not talking about more triangles, I am referring to a generational leap forward. I'd like to see unbiased real-time ray-tracing. If Epic's Samaritan demo is any aindicator of "next gen" then frankly I am not impressed. Yes, it was very pretty, and I thought that they did an amazing job with the demonstration, but it still just felt like a collection of image-space rasterization hacks with more horsepower to push more triangles. It's a linear progression of the same thing we are seeing on the current cycle of consoles, not an exponential one. If nothing else, I'd like to at least see the shadow acne problem solved, using true ray-traced shadows instead of fighting with shadow maps and dealing with licensing of an aging stencil shadow technique. In short, if we are moving on to the next generation of consoles with the same graphical baggage of the current generation, are we really moving forward or just looking to cash in when hardware sales begin to dwindle?

Faster Tracking With A Mixing Console And Multipple Outputs ...
by Amir Said
The unwary reader with my setup I certainly am a proponent of a robust monitoring system based on a mixing console, as opposed to a computerized monitoring system. Now, do I get the target. I have nothing against computer or a monitoring-based computer, I use Pro Tools, so I probably use a computer (Mac buyer max). However, I do not justifiable prints two tracks at a rhythm, nor do I go further in my Digi 002 interface from the outputs of my box! Preferably, I go into my Mackie (32 river-bed) mixer, then from there I go to the Digi interface.
Usually when I transmute beats, I never use more than 8 tracks. This works well since the Digi 002 has only 8 ins (8 separate entries). However, lately I'm finding that I support runs from September to November by taming. I on the extra tracks are ad for a new striker, I have been developing for some time ... Anyway, the final end of the day that I did what had to beat nine tracks. period of success for monitoring in Pro Tools, it was not uncontrollable. Why do you ask? Because of my system monitoring and MIDI Clock Overwhelm!...
The signal means is employed to describe the overflow of the audio signal through the audio system. It is this system that converts the acoustic forcefulness of the origin into electrical forcefulness at the microphone and the processing that it undergoes before it is amplified and then converted back to acoustic dynamism at the loudspeaker.
A tot up of pieces of apparatus are required in called-for to cook this change practicable and they also succumb into a pattern nature:
