I need the cigarette lighter in my xA to stay on (hot at all times). Stock, the lighter only works with the ignition switch on. I need help removing the center dash console. The idea is to charge my phone and electronics while at work. Anyone?
He doesn't throw up in the car, but once we get home (after the 1 hour ride) he throws up and is very lethargic. (He sits in the passenger seat next to me and I have the air conditioning vents pointed at him when it is hot in the afternoon. He moves around a lot and tries to stand up on his hind legs with the front two legs on the center console.)
I have the Trend Micro Internet Security for Dell 2008 version and I wanted to update to the 2010 version today so following the instructions that are online i first deleted it off my computer and realized that without it I have no internet so I restored my computer to an earlier point to get it back. And I tried to install the new version and i put in my serial number but it says "You can submit this serial number only for the Dell OEM version". Since that didn't work I decided to install the full 100MB version, didn't work either. Now the main console will not open and in the Windows Security Center it is reporting that it is turned off.

I bought a used 91 BMW 520i and there's an electronic device located on the center console next to the e-brake. I think someone swapped out the motor for an M5 series motor, because it's not stock. I wasn't sure if it was something for the radio, or a performance part. It's broken whatever it is.
(The car is also built on German specs.)

Michael Harris removed his baseball cap and wiped the perspiration from his brow. He sat there impassively in his black Ford Cortina, coolly smoking a cigarette. The bitterly cold mid-march night air and the feverish temperature inside the Ford had caused the windows to mask with condensation. Michael brushed his gloved-hand across his side window and peered along the main road that would eventually lead to inner-London. From the top of the hill he could see the city sparkling on the horizon; thousands of buildings, cars and lights carpeted the landscape forming a halo-like glow along the skyline. Michael thought from his viewpoint how astonishing it looked. He reminded himself how much he loved the city and again how much he believed he owed it.
Suddenly, Michael was alert. He could see the headlights of truck emerging at the bottom of the hill. On further inspection, he knew this was the one. It was on-time, just as they said it would be. He turned the key in the ignition and the engine burst into life. Michael’s heartbeat rose accordingly and adrenaline began circulating his body. He could feel it but he knew by now how to control it. He grabbed his receiver from the centre-console and put it to his lips, still keeping his eyes fixed on the approaching truck. He composed himself, letting the adrenaline take its effect.
“Alright, were on.” He said coolly into the receiver.
Within a couple of seconds, an equally calm sounding voice replied.
“Everything’s good here.” Came the reply.
Michael placed the receiver back into the centre-compartment and waited for the truck to drive past him. Violently he gripped the steering-wheel, slammed down the accelerator and spun the car around in the centre of the road to face the direction in which the truck was travelling. The Ford was then again subjected to another ferocious burst of full throttle acceleration and quickly made up ground to the back of the truck. The truck was struggling up the hill and Michael could smell the diesel from the engine working overtime. If Michael had learnt anything in his concise career of hijacking trucks was that correct timing was essential. If someone did not produce what was needed of them at the correct time then their whole expedition could come crashing down like a house of cards.
He checked his rear-view mirror. Nothing. Everything was running smoothly.

Man tells area police he's 'U.S. marshal in training'
A man lying face-up in a department store parking lot claimed to be "doing surveillance work for the U.S. marshals," a North Charleston police report states.
The 30-year-old man reportedly gave varying stories April 29 to a store security officer and to police who came to the scene. The report said he told a security officer he was a U.S. marshal, and that he was looking for a drug dealer.
After being told to leave, he returned and was seen face-up in the lot, where he claimed both to be a marshal and to be a marshal in training, the report states. His demeanor was described as "lethargic and nonchalant, as if under the influence of a prescribed narcotic," the report states.
